G&L Tribute SB-2

I tried a Yamaha BB714BS, the imported Billy Sheehan signature bass, and loved the tones from the neck humbucker and P pickup combo. But the ergonomics weren't quite there for me. So I found a decent weight Tribute SB2 (8.8 lbs) and had a DiMarzio Will Power neck pickup added. I wired it myself which was painful because of the small lugs on the stacked pots. Now I need to spend some time with it and see if it's close enough tonally or I figure out how to make a Yamaha work for me.
