Delhi

The Red Fort was build by Shah Jahan (the builder of the Taj Mahal) when he moved his capital from Agra to a new city, Shahjahanabad. It has been the target of terrorist attacks and is not open to the public any longer from what we could tell. The Raj Ghat memorial for Mahatma Gandhi was in a relatively quiet park and had a constant stream of visitors. The India Gate is also no longer open although we were able to take a quick picture from the road.
